The Milke Danda Trek is a 12-day easy-grade trek through the Milke Danda ridge, which hosts the largest and most diverse rhododendron forest in Nepal. The ridge runs east to west between the Tamor and Arun rivers and offers panoramic views of Kanchenjunga, Jannu, Makalu, and Chamlang. The trek reaches 3,590m at the Milke Danda top, which is below the altitude that causes acclimatization problems for most travelers. Spring (April-May) is the prime season when the rhododendrons bloom in waves of red, pink, and white, turning entire hillsides into a botanical garden. The route passes through Limbu, Rai, and Sherpa villages with rich cultural traditions and warm hospitality. Travel insurance is mandatory for all our treks and tours. Cultural Etiquette

Dress modestly at religious sites (cover shoulders and knees). Remove shoes before entering temple sanctums. Walk clockwise around stupas and chortens. Ask permission before photographing people. Use your right hand for eating and passing items. Say namaste (palms together) as a greeting.
