Narphu Valley and Tilicho Mesokanto Pass Trek Itinerary
Welcome to Nepal! Upon arrival, our representative from Mont Everest Go. will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel in Thamel. Evening trip briefing and introduction to your trekking guide.
A scenic 8–9 hour drive follows the Trishuli and Marsyangdi Rivers. The route offers glimpses of terraced fields, hills, and traditional villages. Overnight stay in Jagat, a lively gateway to the Annapurna region.

Today’s trail ascends through subtropical forests and charming stone villages. Cross suspension bridges and enjoy waterfalls and rice terraces. Reach Tal village before climbing to Dharapani.
Walking hours: 6–7 hours
Walk through beautiful pine forests and traditional Gurung villages. Enjoy magnificent views of Manaslu and Annapurna II. Koto marks the entry point to the restricted Narphu Valley region.
Walking hours: 5–6 hours
After checking permits, you’ll enter the Nar Phu Valley. The trail climbs through narrow gorges, pine forests, and waterfalls. Meta provides open views of snow-capped peaks and is your first night in the remote valley.

Trek from Meta to Phu Village (4,080m)
The trail crosses several suspension bridges and remote canyons before reaching Phu, a medieval Tibetan-style village. Himlung Himal and Kang Guru dominate the skyline.

Spend the day exploring the ancient Tashi Lhakhang Monastery, yak pastures, and stone alleys. Meet locals and learn about their centuries-old lifestyle.
Walking hours: 2–3 hours (optional walks)
Descend the valley and cross several suspension bridges before ascending to Nar. The trail offers wide Himalayan views, prayer flags, and stone chortens.

Short hike to nearby ridges for panoramic views of Pisang Peak and Kang Guru. This day helps with acclimatization before crossing Kang La Pass.

Trek from Nar to Ngawal (3,660m) via Kang La Pass (5,240m)
Start early to cross the high Kang La Pass. Enjoy panoramic views of Annapurna II, Gangapurna, and Tilicho Peak before descending to Ngawal, a beautiful old village on the upper Pisang route.

A pleasant walk along the Marsyangdi Valley leads to Manang. The day is shorter, with time to explore local bakeries, monasteries, and small shops in the village.

The trail ascends gently through alpine meadows and yak pastures. Enjoy magnificent views of Gangapurna Glacier and Tilicho Peak.
Walking hours: 4–5 hours
Today’s route follows a narrow trail with some exposed sections, leading to Tilicho Base Camp at the foot of Tilicho Peak. Prepare for the next day’s early hike to the lake.
Walking hours: 5–6 hours
Early morning hike to Tilicho Lake, one of the world’s highest lakes. Its deep blue water mirrors surrounding peaks, creating unforgettable scenery. Return to Base Camp for the night.
Walking hours: 6–7 hours
A challenging and adventurous day crossing Mesokanto La Pass, offering incredible mountain panoramas. Descend carefully to Yak Kharka for the night.
Walking hours: 8–9 hours
Descend into the dry Mustang region with wide views of Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri ranges. Celebrate the completion of your trek at Jomsom.
Enjoy a scenic mountain flight to Pokhara (20 min) or drive through the Kali Gandaki Valley. Free time to relax by the lakeside.

Return to Kathmandu by bus (6–7 hrs) or a short flight. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner with your guide and team.
