Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking a trip with Mount Everest Go. This document outlines the agreement between you (the “Client”) and Mount Everest Go (the “Company”). By booking a trip, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Booking and Payments

1.1. Booking Confirmation: A booking is considered confirmed only when the Company receives a completed booking form and the required non-refundable deposit.

1.2. Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total trip cost is required to secure your booking. This deposit is used to make initial arrangements for your trip.

1.3. Final Payment: The remaining balance of the trip cost is due 30 days prior to the trip departure date. For bookings made within 30 days of departure, the full trip cost is required at the time of booking.

1.4. Payment Methods: Payments can be made via bank transfer or credit card (Visa, MasterCard). Please note that payments made by credit card will incur a 3.5% processing fee.

1.5. Failure to Pay: If the final balance is not received by the due date, the Company reserves the right to cancel your booking and retain the deposit.

2. Cancellation Policy

All cancellation requests must be submitted to the Company in writing (via email).

2.1. Cancellation by the Client:

  • If you cancel 60 days or more before the departure date, the deposit will be forfeited.
  • If you cancel between 30 and 59 days before the departure date, 50% of the total trip cost will be charged.
  • If you cancel less than 30 days before the departure date, 100% of the total trip cost will be charged.

2.2. Cancellation by the Company: The Company reserves the right to cancel any trip prior to departure due to reasons beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, political instability, pandemics, or other force majeure events). In such a case, the Company will offer you an alternative trip of a similar standard. If this is not acceptable, a full refund of all monies paid will be provided. The company is not liable for any incidental expenses you may have incurred, such as visas, vaccinations, or non-refundable flights.

3. Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all clients. Your insurance policy must cover:

  • Trip cancellation and interruption.
  • Medical expenses and emergency repatriation.
  • Helicopter evacuation for high-altitude treks.
  • Personal liability and loss of luggage/personal effects.

You must provide proof of your insurance policy to the Company before your trip departure. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of your trip without a refund.

4. Client Responsibilities

4.1. Passport and Visas: You must carry a valid passport with at least six months of validity remaining from the date of your return. You are responsible for obtaining the necessary visa for Nepal.

4.2. Health and Fitness: You are responsible for ensuring you are in a suitable physical and mental condition for your chosen trip. You must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions at the time of booking. The Company reserves the right to refuse your participation if we believe your health and safety, or that of the group, could be compromised.

4.3. Conduct: You agree to accept the authority and decisions of the Company’s guides and staff during the trip. If your conduct is deemed to be disruptive, dangerous, or illegal, the Company reserves the right to remove you from the trip without any right to a refund.

5. Itinerary Changes

While we strive to adhere to the advertised itinerary, the nature of adventure travel in the Himalayas requires flexibility. The Company reserves the right to alter itineraries due to weather, trail conditions, client health, political events, or other unforeseen circumstances. Our guides will make any necessary changes with the primary goal of ensuring the safety and well-being of the group. No refunds will be issued for itinerary changes made for these reasons.
